Delta Goodrem

Hey,

Delta Lea Goodrem was born on 9/11/84 in Sydney. She started out as an Australian singer-sogwriter, pianist and occasional actress. She became very popular in 2002, when she starred as Nina Tucker on the television series Neighbours. In Australia, she has realeased two multi-platinum selling albums ' Innocent Eyes' and ' Mistaken Identity ' . She has acheived seven number one singles and in 2005 she went on her first national tour. Delta Goodrem has now been in a movie called ' Hating Alison Ashley' and is now recording her third album. She sang at the Melbourne 2006 Commenwealth Games singing ' Together We Are One' in front of 1.5 billion television viewers worldwide not to mention all the people at the stadium. On July 8th, 2003 Delta was diagnosed with Hodgekin's Diease ( Hodgekin's Lymphoma) a form of cancer. After late December 2003/ early January 2004 she announced that she was in remmision, she began writing more songs for her second album. Delta Goodrem is now in a stable relationship with Brian McFadden, a former member of the boyband WestLife. She is also apart of a charity called RADD ( Recording Artists, Actors And Athletes Against Drink Driving).

The reason I wrote this because its nice to write about a good person like this once in awhile instead of writing about ourselves all the time
